This Privacy Policy explains how LipSyncAI ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use lipsync.online (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, avatar.
- Uploaded media: images, videos and audio you upload, scripts you enter, and the videos generated from them.
- Billing data: plan, transaction references and amounts. Card, PayPal and crypto details are processed by our payment providers; we never store full card numbers.
- Usage & security data: IP address, device/browser, login history, active sessions and request logs used for security and fraud prevention.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service, including sending your inputs to AI processing providers to generate your videos.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions and credits, and send transactional emails.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Uploaded media and AI processing
Your uploads are sent to third-party AI providers (for example, lip-sync, text-to-speech and Google Gemini for script assistance) solely to perform the task you request. We do not sell your media or use it to train our own models. Biometric characteristics of faces in uploaded media are processed only transiently to generate the requested video.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service (hosting, AI processing, payments, email), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete videos at any time; deleted files are removed from our storage. Billing records are retained as required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, CSRF protection, rate limiting and server-side access checks. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes by email or in the dashboard.
